CORi Foundation

CORi Foundation

Culture, art and music as catalysts for social transformation.

CORi Foundation believes that culture, art and music can be an incredible social catalyst that transcends national boundaries and prejudice. It has the power to develop awareness, understanding and resources for social and environmental programmes and projects.

This foundation aims to promote sustainable and equitable social, cultural and economic development initiatives, targeted at minority and vulnerable groups in Africa and other emerging regions, by promoting an understanding of their culture, art and music.

  • Fight against social discrimination, injustice and precariousness.
  • Sensitize, inform, educate and bring awareness of minority communities.
  • Support local civil society initiatives.

Empowering African Art

Art and culture are active agents of change.

African artists are making an impact in music, fashion and visual arts globally.

However, African and minority artists remain vulnerable because of:

  • Limited access to investors and capital.
  • Difficulty in finding qualified mentors.
  • Problems in accessing international shows, exhibitions and outlets.
  • Limited access to African and minority ethnicity creative hubs.
  • A lack of equitable commercial engagement and finance.

CORi Foundation is committed to co-creating a more sustainable future for Africa by working with Pan-African artists that positively impact society, economy and environment.

Art and culture are active agents of change. CORi seeks to empower musicians, designers and artists by providing the capital, mentors, resources and skills required to make and promote their work globally.
